part interchange

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what all parts will interchange betweent the 94-98 and 99-04 body styles, I found a body kit I really like that is for the 94-98 body styles where as mine is a 00, I know there are some parts that interchange but I dont know what body parts will interchange, if anyone can let me know that would be awesome,

but is the sub frames the same? like if I was to do a whole asymbly swap like using headlights and hangers and all would they just bolt right up or would they need to be modded, surly there cant be that much differance between the two body styles, the demensions are close to the same, and you can buy kits to convert your 99-04 to the gen 5 style, why couldnt you convert backwards?

Go look at a 94-98, then go look at a new edge. They are two completely different body styles. The headlights will not work as the older model is rounded whereas the new edge is more angled.

Sell your car and buy an SN95. The work that would go into converting a NE into an SN95 wouldn't be worth the effort. It would actually be easier to buy an SN95 and swap in a split port V6 (or just do a split port swap).

our cars are around 4-5 inches wider then an sn95 if i remember correctly...you'd have to be able to widen said body kit...bad thing is if it's a fiberglass kit yes you could do that...but then again fiberglass kits are crap. if it's poly....well you're boned there too.

what's the kit btw...because 99% of aftermarket bodykits suck

Thumbs down

Thanks

well every one thanks for the posts, they body kit is a polyurathane they only made them for the 94-98s its kinda a mix between an elanore kit and a evo5 kit, the only one close enough that I can find for my year is an evo5 it has the big fog lights in the middle of it like the elanore not down below like the evo5, I actually found the kit on Clist I havent found it anywhere else, so I was trying to be hopefull LOL I actually like my car better then the SN95 my buddy has an SN95 V6 and sitting side by side even still being mostly stock mine looks so much cooler but I really want the elanore look so if anyone knows of a body kit that comes close let me know, I even thought about seeing if I could buy the Gen5 conversion kit and just trade the front bumper for a Gen5 elanore front, some how some way I must achive my elanore look but with the moderness of the newer cars, and withought spending the bank to go buy a brand new mustang LOL, cuz I dont make that kind of money!
