which would yield more power?
i have a bbk fenderwell intake, and a divorced dual exhaust. From which would i gain more hp a catted x-pipe or a tuner?

Probably the tuner.

Tuner. Exhaust shows little to no gains on our cars.

It would be a good bit louder, but it would also be much raspier (annoying if you ask me). If you want to go louder but keep a decent sound, go with an o/r h-pipe. Or if you've got some money to spend, get an o/r MAC prochamber and run that without mufflers. Sounds amazing, but they only make them for GTs so you'll have to have a shop modify it to fit.

modifying it will be easy (i have access to a welder (yes ik how to weld) tube bender, grider, plasma cutter, etc.) but the catted x-pipe is 370, would an h-pipe be cheaper? and is the prochamber catted? if so i can get a prochamber h-pipe for like $200.

now that being said...prochambers are from MAC and they come in O/R application, but you can fab it to work with cats...i did on the v6 since i have testing and don't feel like cutting them off at the moment. also a prochamber is not an h-pipe so i have no idea what you mean by prochamber h-pipe for $200 lol. |

Alright. Well if you want power, go with the tuner. If you want sound, go with the midpipe. I highly recommend H over X. I'm personally all 4 cats on my y pipe custom fabbed into an h pipe and my car is loud enough to let my family know I'm home

. I have heard car with H-pipes, X-pipes, and Prochambers (all catted) and i love how loud they are. so i think i am going to go with a catted prochamber. but 1 more question, the 4 cats on the exhaust the 1 closest to the header is the resonator right?

that leads into my other question, are all 4 of them cats? or are the ones closest to the headers resonators?

sooo lets say i buy an o/r prochamber, could i just take the cats (the bottom 2) and make them fit into the o/r prochamber and still pass emissions just as a high flow cat would?

ways to fix that issue...weld up heat shields to pass visual, and kill the code with various methods |

i don't think they do a visual in nc. they just make sure the horn and headlights work and plug in to the obd2 port. But the first 2 are just resonators and they don't actually work as cats do they?
