4.2tranny fit

well my tranny is goin out on my oo3.8 auto n well i have 4.2 complete with tranny auto as welll n was wonderin will the tranny fit my car or not thanks in advance

is your car currently auto? yes the 4.2 and tranny will bolt up but why not go T5 (manual) tranny why you have the opportunity?

i wnt to keep it auto but its cause i have the motor n tranny sittin there n instead of buyin a mustang one if i can i wnt to use the 4.2 tranny

oh, and just for your information the mustang auto and the f150 auto are the same transmission.

im pretty sure the last year of the aode in the f150 was 1996. 97-03 im almost 100% positive that all f series came with 4r70w/4r75w or 4r100
