I'd say Tokico. But I'm a little biased because I've only used them, although they are nice shocks/struts.

I'm slightly confused...there called shocks in the rear but struts in the front?

Yes. And I also run Tokico HP (blues). Very good for a stock replacement on a DD.

Shocks and struts are different. Our cars use shocks in the rear and struts in the front. This isn't the case for all vehicles.

Are tokico's good for lowered cars or are they pretty much stock replacements?

We have used KYB GR2s as replacement parts on all the cars we've owned over the years. They are bit stiffer than stock and seem to last a long time.
I'd recommend them for a mostly stock suspended car. If you plan on lowering or going all out on fancy suspension parts these shocks will get overwhelmed. They are not a good pick for aftermarket or cut springs.

well my shocks are pretty much shot sence my exhuast was on my car when it hits a bump the axle seems to be more free wot move up and dawn thus hitting my dual exhuast bends tht they did over my rear end but ive also noticed that its been hitting on smaller and smaller bumps and it sems tht my rear of the car seem ever sooo slightly lower ...just enough to notice and im hoping that when i replace my shocks in the back my axle will stop hitting my exhuast......i hope tht stops the problem ...as in the shocks r just bad and its causing my axle to have more movement....idk

It seems like a lot of lowered guys run them and they work well for a stock replacement too

Well as for shocks I think I'm gunna go with tokico sence they sound like a realy good answer to my exhaust/axle problem
For head lights I was gunna get ...idk iif there called smoked tail lights but the one where its a spray (or if there somthing better let me know) And have head lights the same For example there are two gts for sale near me they both appear to have smoked haid lights....don't get me wrong they look awsome!!! But I dontthink they'd be dark enough on my car I plan on wannting to get some form of smoked/dark head/tail lights fog lights chin spiler and keepstock gt wheels for now and then build my 4.2...which btw is all going on now I just bought the cam and springs from greenmustang00 along with his windstar lol :cool There's a junk yead selling a complete 4.2 outa totalled f150 with to me I can say ONLY 20k miles on...he's asking 1k for it with shipping included in the 1k.....thoughts responsed? Plz chime in I think the extra 15hp and 30 tq is worth it when its gunna involve a cam...more potenial gains tthan from a 3.8 I assume??

KYBs are a slightly-better-than-stock replacement. I recommend the Tokico blues, though, as if you're gonna go through the time, money, and effort (however little it may be) to replace your dampers (proper generic term for both shocks and struts), you might as well get an upgrade in the process.

Yeah, KYBs aren't bad, there's just better stuff out there. The huge advantage to KYBs is they seem to make parts for EVERYTHING, so if you have something oddball, you can almost certaintly still get decent dampers. With a popular chassis like a Mustang, though, you have a lot more options.

This should fix it, supposing your current shocks are worn to hell and that your exhaust is properly installed. Coilovers are just the springs mounted to the shocks/struts. It does essentially the same thing.
