Proper pulley sizing is one of the many fun things I get to do at work. I get to pick proper drive ratios for certain FEAD (Front Engine Accessory Drive) configurations for engines. Also of note, high electrical demand applications, such as transit buses typically either go to a massive alternator or sometimes even twins, rather than just spinning the stock one higher. Not that I'm advocating twin alternators. Twin turbos maybe, twin alternators, no.

Yessir, FEAD configuration is one of the many things that falls under the realm of Vehicle Integration. Only drawback to the job (other than being in Indiana) is it's put a serious damper on my build by sucking away all my free time. Between that and the DD dying it's thrown a big monkey wrench in my plans. Still shooting for Phase I completion by fall. I guess if anything I should be a pro at dressing engines and configuring them for different chassis/motors by now.
