how do they work you ask....well basically they free up hp caused by parasitic drag...granted its not a lot of hp in our cars (i think a full set of UDP net you around 8-10hp)
as for the sound clip...i guessed right the other day...sounds like someone just cut the cats off the factory exhaust...time for a custom setup XD |

well their either gutted or the mufflers been removed...somethings missing that should be there because it's to high pitched right now for having it all. didn't you say something was taken out and looked like tubing was welded in on your exhuast? i know it still has the single tip

8-10hp sounds pretty generous, unless they're very extreme UDP's, but I could be wrong. I just take a lot of those hp claims with a grain of salt, like the CAI's that claim to give you 20hp.

do UDP have nay draw backs? also since yall get cheap runs, someone should put there A/C on to see just how much hp it saps from the motor.

probably just a bigger alternator, like a 200 amp or something.

Bigger alternator is better than an overdrive pulley. Lots of Cobra guys run into this problem when they try to up the boost on their blower, and inadvertantly spin the shit out of their alternator and burn it out. Think about your alternator like a blower, and amps like boost. Sure you could run a smaller pulley and get more, but you're more likely to destroy something than if you just get a larger blower/alternator with a regular pulley.
