car threw the code p0190 (fuel rail pressure sensor malfunction). called around no one knows the sensor even exists so assuming its a dealer only thing i call ford and they want 70 bucks for the thing. Cars kinda running like crap idle is extremely low and it hesitates sometimes. just wondering if anything else would cause this code and problems before i go out and grab the sensor. just threw in new plugs, wires, fuel filter, and alternator since the code was thrown if that matters.

go to your trunk and reset the intertia switch
see if that changes things

do you have a hand held tuner ?

im pretty sure i shut the inertia off then on while doing the fuel filter, and no i do not.

Considering there is only 1 sensor that I can mentally picture on the fuel rail, I'd have to assume the FRPS would be the sensor right above the schrader valve. If nobody you called knew about that, I'd be careful where you take your car for repairs (unless you do all your work yourself).

yes i do the work myself and what i meant by no one knew of its existence was the people at the parts stores. i called around looking for prices and no one could find it, and everyone knows when a parts stores computer doesn't show an item they tell you your car doesnt have one. anyhoo ford only i guess. i think im going to go ahead and get it and hope it fixes the issue.
