Power Gains with True Dual?

True Dual Exhaust, Doesnt that mean the Pipes for Each Side of the Motor are seperate for better flow?

And How much of a Gain in Power does this Give?

Right now I just have Gutted Cats on a Single Exhaust.

you know not everything needs a new thread lol...alot of things can be found using the search function...

a good exhaust should net around the 5hp range lol...depending on the muffler or midpipe you may see some throttle response gain and a better top end.

Since my Cats are gutted, I should just get a Flowmaster 40 and be set for now. Lol

well you can do that...or get two and have a shop do a dual setup...or to be cheaper...buy two thrush welds instead...they are just generic flows 40s lol

I agree with 6er, go the dual route. If money is tight, go with Thrush Welds. They're about half the price of Flowmasters and put out a similar sound. You'll be much happier going with duals. Trust me, we've seen a lot of guys come in here and not want to listen to our advice on this. They go with a single muffler and think it sounds great for a few days. Then another V6 drives past them with duals and they're just disappointed with their exhaust setup. I highly recommend going dual so you don't end up paying even more to have the exhaust redone.

Unless you're like 6er and enjoy having your car in the shop twice a week to try a new muffler setup

I had that disappointing experience today when a sixer drove by me with a 03/04 cobra front end. I want mine back from the body shop so bad. But for $100 to fix a $100 bumper that normally costs $350+ I'm not complaining. They're remaking the left fog housing and painting it to match my car.
