Torque Specs on header bolts?


I was just wondering if any of u knew what lbs. i should torgue the botls down to on my long tube headers??? ill be putting them on with in a week whenever i get time

In the car? Good luck fitting a torque wrench in there. I just crank them down with a wrench and then retighten them after a few heat cycles.

I can bearely fit my skinny hands around the headers, especially my long tubes. Just use a new gasket and torque from the front to the rear and again by hand as much as you can.

Yeah, I got mine from NAPA for like 6 bucks or 8 bucks if I remember. They came as a pair in a long box.

Yeah, walk in and ask for "exhaust manifold gaskets" or "headers to head gaskets," etc. The workers at autozone are more of a dumbass than you'll every be :wink
