the most out of it....100shot...
dont wana blow your engine you can get a cam...or heads or gears and posi-$650-700 UD pulleys will be like $250 with belt and alt pulley CAI-$50 i recommend the gears and posi-$650-$700 CAI-$50 and c springs -$150 still got $100 with gears you need a speedcal OR you can get gears and posi for about $400 and installed for $200 so if your lucky-$600 buy an xcal2 from crazylegs-$350 and then buy a CAI the xcal2 can fix the speedometer problem with the gears

Take a race driving class. Best mod for the buck and will stay with you no matter what you decide to do with the car.

With $1000, I'd like for my car to sound pretty nice and do exhaust. Get some LT headers with an x-pipe and duals coming out the back. Please note this will not give you as high of a horsepower increase like the aforementioned ways, it will make people hear your car and check it out.

Gears, tlok and tuner...I'm surprised no one mentioned you need to recalibrate the speedo, so you might as well get the tune too for some added power

Yeah during the summer months you could "possibly" get by without a warmer but why chance it? Just bite the bullitt and do it right the first time... |

well im in FL...and heat isnt much of a problem...and my buddy has beeon on spray for over 1yr and never had problems...though he has bottle warmer now...he still doesnt have a purge kit...and doesnt have any problems with making his 13.0 passes on a simple bolt on 150,000 mile GT....which he used a torch...and never had a problem....but neways i would personally get everything needed and that would help the 1st time...but if its not a must and the person doesnt mind...then w/e go for it...

Purge kit is not needed but it is nice to purge rather then purging through the intake...He could be getting alot better response from the nitorus if he purged it to the atmosphere...But to each their own... You live and learn...I try to help people do what I have learned from trial and error...Lets just say it sucks when you get ready to race and your bottle has no pressure... Yeah if it is warm where you are you can get by for a while...But if the temp gets colder then you might be hosed... The torch is a quick fix...It is not something you want to have to do every time you want to spray... My entire nitrous set-up I had before I got the blower cost around $1200 and that was for anything and everything (minus a nitrous controller)... Any pictures of that blower set-up on your car yet? |
