Have a 2000 v6 and it has 4 catalytic converters. If I do a cat back system will I pass the emissions test? How much horsepower will I gain? How will the car run - rich, lean, hesitate..? How much should it cost?

ill put the answers in order since you didn't use the search feature to get them youself lol...

1. yes you'll pass..catbacks have nothing to do with the cats since they begin after the cat...ergo the name catback

2. 5ish hp on average

3. car will run like a car should....normal...throttle response will probly pick up a teeny tiny bit for most people and maybe a bit more top end..but in a stock v6 you'll never really notice it

Its a cat back so you wouldn't be touching ur cats so it would pass emitions..
Hp gains not rly any to ntoice you gotta have numbers to make numbers


Its 90% for sound wich before you ask which is the best...by opinon.....flowmaster 40s with a divorced mid pipe as in there no crossover or a h pipe
