Cobra Style Brake Upgrade Q's?
So, I'm looking into upgrading my brake system and found some kits:
Front Brakes- 1994-04 Mustang Sve 13" Cobra Style Front Brake Kit at LRS - Same Day Shipping! It includes new Stoptech Stainless Steel Brake Hoses Rear Brakes- 1994-04 Mustang Ford Racing Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Kit, M-2300-M at LRS - Same Day Shipping! & 1994-04 Mustang Cobra Rear Brake Caliper Loaded Pair by Centric at LRS - Same Day Shipping! Would this setup be good and would I need any additional equipment? Also would the new rear upgrade fit with these ( J&M Mustang Stainless Steel Teflon Brake Lines (96-98 V8 Rear) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!) ? If not where would I be able to get some stainless steel braided brake lines to to fit after the upgrade? P.S. - Not looking to drop $1k for the Ford Racing / Brembo front brake kit. |

honestly unless you're putting down some serious power it's gonna be overkill...plus you'll need some nice 17" wheels to fit them on your car if you still have 15s or 16s...
i'm making my car the ultimate corner carver and using MM's vast resource on brakes i've decided on going SS brake lines and a nice semi-metallic pad for the extra bite when i brake... |

Yeah I know but I gotta overhual them anyways so I decided to do that in case I do wanna drop the money for some power, but will the J&M lines fit after I do the upgrade? And Im probably going to put the TSW Nurburgring 18x8F/18x9R on.

Cool, thats just what I wanted to hear. I got very little mechanical knowlege so ya gotta bear with me and this next question might be stupid... will it need to be tuned after I put the new upgrades and going from stock to 18" wheels?

no tuning needed...as for the lines the reason why i say they will fit is because it says for a 94-98 GT/Cobra..the linked calipers are 94-98 Cobra rears...so that's my thinking lol
