i did its like 780 or so at the lowest. maybe i could find one off a totaled mach 1. theres a few in town here. but really could i just use a normal hoodscoop from like american muscle, get it painted black and not use it as an intake? would that look good?

Just so you're aware, the shaker scoop only actually works above 70mph.

but it'll make him feel like he's speed lightning everytime he see's the scoop

that and the CDC kit looks like shit...that piece to cover the v6 scoop and try to make it look like a mach hood is just horrible...and when people put them on and don't paint them to match the hood it's 100x's worse..if you do it do it right..mach 1 hood and the shaker system...but it's really not worth the cash unless you find a wrecked mach

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that bit. The CDC kits look fucking terrible. I've seen one on a Roush (while I was looking at a Cobra). The Mach 1 scoop + hood looks much better although it's really a visual mod at best

a standard hood scoop would look weird on a mach hood...plus without the proper shaker the water is going to find a nice home on top of your coilpack and intake lol
