im at a loss with my headlights...

So, the headlights will not turn on at all, high or low beam. The marker lights and directionals all work however. The battery and alternator are maybe a week old and all fuses are fine. From what I can see the wiring all looks good too and the car has not moved in maybe 2 months and they were working then. I pulled the bulbs out and they look good too. Not to mention both entire headlight assembly and bulbs on both sides were purchased new last year. I dont know what else to do... help?

take a tester light to the sockets...see you when you get back lol

I took a look at the wiring diagram and I didn't see an inline fuses so I'd have to guess there is a problem with the actual wires. How much of the wiring have you looked at? I can assure you there's a lot more to it than just the small section you generally see attached to the headlights.

^ +1 with what mcqueen said. i just installed my hid's and i had too look at the headlight wiring diagram and there is alot more to the wires involved than u think.

oh i know there's a lot more than i can see i only took a quick look, im pretty sure my neighbor has a test light ill bring it over there and see what i can find out. thanks for the replies.

just throwing this out there, but ur headlight switch could be shot. if ur marker lights are working that runs through ur multifunction switch on ur column, but ur headlights are through the pull tab headlight switch on ur dash board. id start by checking that first... might save u alot of time tracing wires down ^_^ anywho happy hunting

i was thinking the same thing but the dash lights work when i turn it so im not so sure but its worth looking into i suppose

the dash lights can still come on... i would yank the switch out and check the pins on both the switch and the connector socket to start ... u might find one burned

ugh i know right, just recently moved from a house to an apartment (long story) and lost quite a bit in the process. im bringing the car over to my neighbors soon to get some work done ill just add this on the list of things to do while im there.
