What size are the exhaust manifold bolts?

I got some LTs I am going to be installing bought them used. Well Ford wants $7 a piece for the studs. I am curious to what size and pitch? I am guessing like an m8 1.25? Anyone know for sure? I work for a chevy dealer and can get parts at cost and if I know the size I can have them just order normal exhaust bolts that will work except for less money.

The guy who assembled my heads said that some of the studs got stuck in the old heads (he damaged the threads removing them) so he just used regular hex screw and bolt instead of studs.

We used 8mmx1.25x40mm bolts.

Of course id recommend using studs but at the time i didnt care.

Ok thanks. I am planning on using bolts. IDK why ford put the studs on unless one of their other vehicles that used the 3.8 had a heat sheild on the manifolds. Kind of dumb in my eyes.

Thanks for the help.

Can't wait to get the LTs on I next need some cutouts so I might have to order some before I put them on so I can do it all at once. Not electric though too expensive maybe down the road though.
