exhaust problem pt2

Some you may know I. Had custom fabd divorced duals and the bends tht went up and over the rear on the left side only hit on on bumps I just replaced the shocks and the ride is a lot better but still hits....I'm thinking of cutting the tail pipes off and dumping it or....leave it and eventually buy the pre bent ones off of jegs and slaping them on but I'm concered bout the way he has the mufflers tht there too far back to the axle and wouldn't fit anyway...opinons???

I would do some measuring and see if you'd be able to cut the prebent ones to fit. Otherwise you might need to take the car to a different exhaust shop and have them fit some tail pipes in there correctly.

check the hangers and see if they set the tubes wrong...been there done that and a little fidling with the hangers can go a long way...especially if they used a bolt on style hanger...if they did a weld on style and you can tell its the problem the cut it off and buy a $3 bolt on hanger from an auto store and put it on yourself

There was a rap around the pipe hanger at auto zone tht was 4.99 it was a ting peice of metal strip with holes in it tht you could adjust the lenght of it...I wanted to get tht and I shoulda.....is tht wat u mean...I got a vid on my phone but mobile youtube is being gay so I hope to have a vid up....soon

as long as it has the rubber between the metal hanger you can adjust height iwth and the clamp then yes thats the one...the rubber will minimize vibrations
