I don't use K&N. Way too pricey for no gains over any other CAI. I just have a basic AM CAI (which I believe is Stack Racing) with a cotton filter All of that oil is from the PCV letting oil into the engine. My point was just that oil going into the engine is a bad thing because it will gunk up in the intakes/heads.

Painted it white/black because chrome just didn't fit the black/white theme I've got going. Rest of the engine will get painted black when it goes back together (or new engine will get painted black).

Don't dunk it in or the engine will stall, just let it slowly suck it in (the engine creates a vacuum after the throttle body and it should be strong enough to suck the liquid in if the PCV line is within a few millimeters of the Seafoam). Some people will tell you to use the brake booster line but don't listen to that, it only feeds a few of the intake runners and you want it to get to all of the runners.

Here's some more info on it if you're interested. My upper intake looked pretty much the same when I last had it off.
