I'm personally not a fan of the black pony emblem look. The pony gets lost in the grille. I don't have any good pics of mine when the pony was black, but I got tired of it quickly

I prefer to see ponys matched to the color of the car (or chrome if the car is black). Here's some pics of mine with the stock grille

And I've grown very fond of the no pony look

I've tried black, chrome, and body color ponies... All looked good but I liked the chrome one best. Looks clean and OEM-ish.

How did you paint the chrome ring around the pony? Also do you have any experience with duplicolor chrome spray paint? Ive heard it needs like months to cure properly or it will look very dull

When you pull the whole grille off, turn it around and you'll see a bunch of tabs holding the chrome ring on. An extra set of hands is nice for getting it off, but you can do it alone. Just be careful, the tabs get a little fragile. I think I had about half the tabs missing by the time I got my Termi bumper But then it's just as simple as clean, sand, clean, primer, paint, clear. I unfortunately don't have any experience with the chrome spray paint, but I can't imagine it needing months to cure. You could try getting ahold of Tinkerbell and see what brand she used for black chrome on her grille (I'll bet them make regular chrome as well). It came out really well and I'm sure it didn't take anywhere near months to cure.

Thanx for the info . I read on some forum that it needed some ungodly time to cure but idk. Also yes they do make regular chrome spray paint and I just read that the duplicolor chrome it pretty shiny but doesnt take any more time to cure than regular paint so I guess the forum I read was wrong.
