Just to let you know guys, AC does NOT eat more gas when it is in use. You still will get same gas mileage when you use AC whether its on high or low

in my car max a/c uses more then normal a/c. i don't know why or how. and yes, you are right. having it on low or high does not matter. but i think max a/c vs normal a/c is a different story. i'm just saying i've seen 2-4mpg difference.

Recirculates air from the cabin rather than pulling outside air.

MPG is not affected between MAX a/c, regular a/c, hi or low.. if it's on, it's on.. BUT it does put a load on your vehicle if on and will probably make a MINOR difference in MGP.. I don't see 3 or 4 MPG's.. maybe 1/2 a MPG or something but I would rather be cool and spend the extra $.30 a tank.

it does use more gas because more load, more gas, more gas needed to propel the car. i could see a 2mpg difference because my a/c robs so much power from my car (which is why i never use it even though it gets over 100 degrees here.
