Fuel problems

well the problem i am having is that sometimes when i start my car it will act like it wants to die but then it levels out and the rpm will fluxuate between 600 and 800. I can't tell if it was the new fuel filter (wix fuel filter from o'riellies), the E3 plugs, or just bad gas? The problem seems to go away if i fill up with shell gas, so i'm thinking that they just sell bad gas where i live?

Maybe you got water in your gas? Has it rained a lot from the last time you filled up?

yeah, it has rained for like 3 days straight

That could be the case

water could have got down in to the tanks where all the gas sits.

Lol it never rains here in AZ, but yes it has been known to happen.
