what he is saying is this::

with 2.73 gears (which is what he has) means that your driveshaft is going to turn 2.73 times to make your wheel turn once.

with 3.73, the driveshaft turns 3.73 times for one rotation of the wheels

with 4.10, the driveshaft turns 4.10 times for one rotation of the wheel

since you have an open rear end you need to chalk the other tire... that way it doesn't spin at all it throughing your results...

did you learn this off Xtrem 4x4 a few weeks back?
