Ok i have a 2000 5 speed mustang well i bought the car with a check engine light on and now i have 3 months till it has to pass emissions well the car has headers going to a y pipe. The thing is the car does not have cats so it wont pass cause its throwing the code for o2 sensors my ? is there any way to bypass the o2 sensors so it will not throw a code?

MIL eliminators will kill the code...although you won't pass the mirror test lol

for that you'll have to have some heat shields welded up on the tubing before your test so it will pass visual

yea just get some heat shields or some high flows or some cats off of a wrecked stang. or just slip the inspector a $20.

the O2 sensor has to have a reading when they plug it up instead of saying just N/A

im the man to talk to lol, dealt with all that emission bullshit for 3 months, going by what you said, just get the mil eliminators, or make them yourself for half price, after hooking them up, retune/reset ecu, go through drive cycle, and you'll be set.

thanks for all the help are there any threads on how to make the eliminators? and by reset and retune do you mean disconnect he battery or use a hand held tuner? Thanks again

disconnect or tuner both can do it, disconnecting battery works fine, theres a write up ill try and find it
