Seafoam questions

Real quick heres the rough draft plan

tomorrow

go to gas station,
fill to full tank, drive back, by this time engine will be nice and warm)
insert 1/3 into gas tank,
1/3 into oil,
and then suck 1/3 through the pcv hose,
let sit for 15 minutes.
take it out high revving drive, drive like 5ish miles?
return home
change oil and filter. complete.

?

When you let it sit does the motor have to be running or do we turn the car off after sucking up the seafoam into the pcv?
