What is this plug for?

This plug is on the back of the shifter bezel and I don't have the slightest clue as to what it is for.

btw there is nothing but the cig lighter on the front of the bezel.

Edit: I have done some searching and some say it is something for fog lights but most don't actually know. does anyone on here know?

Pretty sure neither of them are foglights. I think the foglight connector is purple but I could have 2 mixed up. I do know that there is wiring for fogs in my car already and yet I have no fogs.

I have a manual if you can't tell that from the shifter in the pic....

if you had traction control the button woudl plug into that harness, its so ford could make 1 harness for all mustangs to save money.

you can see the hole for the button in this pic

this is correct. the fog light harness on 99-00s is under the coin holders

i got one of those bezels off a friend a few weeks ago...i'm gonna add an A/C converter and put the outlet in that hole lol

could someone post a pic of the foglight switch plug? I was wanting to know what it looked like incase i put some fogs in mine and want to use the switch.

it goes in the center console in place of one of the coil holders
