my fuel pump quit a couple months ago...

I just got around to Getting a good used tank, with fuel pump and sending unit in it. i have a dilemma though. My tank has a Fuel Pressure sensor...the Tank i purchased does not have a fuel pressure sensor or harness splitting off the fuel pump harness but it does plug right into the Car harness for the fuel pump harness, would the car work without the fuel pressure sensor and what would be caused by not using it before i try to install this?

notice on the harness to the left there is no Fuel pressure sensor harness...

is it possible to use this tank without the fuel pressure sensor? what would this cause? and please don't bash my thread, give me advice.

(MODs can close this thread) after much research i found out the tank i got was Non-cali emissions not needing the FTP sensor. i just need to get a Cali emissions standard tank.

Why not just get a new pump and use your old tank?

my old tank was very rusty and kinda starting to rot on the top from moisture build up. Gotta love living in the Great State of NY. CNY weather
