v6 hesitates to acclerate
ok so theres this weird noise my mustang makes when i start to drive and acclerate it annoys the hell outta me lol. i brought it to a mechanic and they said it might need a tune up the estimate was $331 so i just went to autozone bought the parts they were gonna change nd did it myself for about $80. i changed the oil gave it the tune up even seafoamed it. after that it stopped, but then after it started to do it agen but not as worse. when it first started it took me a while to get to at least 50 mph now i can get there but it still makes the noise any suggestions guys thanks.

Assuming you put some seafoam in your oil , you don't want to let that stuff sit in your oil for very long. Maybe 2-3 days MAX. How did you seafoam it, 1/3 intake, 1/3 gas, and 1/3 oil? Also, what kind of plugs did you use? Copper ones are best for our cars, and what brand were they? What were they gapped to?

Take it to the dealership. The can find the problem a lot quicker than you, and do a better job than a mom and pop mechanic. Obviously all the mechanic did was take a guess. A Ford technician is going to find out the exact reason. That way you can at least know what it going on. then you can have them fix it, or just fix it yourself.
Better off spending a bit of money to find the problem, rather than spending it on stuff that isn't helping.
