What is this cover called?


So when i bought my mustang it was in an accident and fixed..kinda. I opened the hood and this piece is missing

What is i called and where can i get one? Its like impossible to find it and im sure its expensive but under my hood looks like crap without it, i just want one and want to know where i can find one. Thanks

before this thead goes away, whats the cover called, between the windshield and the hood. the wipers are on it..

i have a pear tree, and a few pears smashed mine.

yep, theyre expensive, MMFF just did a 99-04 exterior redesign and they had to shell out $200 for one, expensive for a piece of plastic!

Yes, it would look stupid without the cowl. Just keep in mind that these cowls become brittle with age and to properly remove them I believe you need to remove the hood and fenders to reduce the chance of cracking the cowl (as much as possible). If you can find a used cowl that's already been pulled from a car, you'll be much better off.

Tie your battery down BTW. Its going to go bad just bouncing around. If you don't have the tie down block, they have them at Autozone.
