paxton or procharger

so ive been set on getting the procharger lately because ive finally saved up enough money...but i just came across a paxton kit that their going to be putting in the new shelby CS6 its cheaper and produces more power. Is there a reason for this? i dont know much about paxtons superchargers so all input good or bad would be appreciated

paxton is another good brand, but I have heard that they are notorious for belts slipping. I don't know if thats true or not, but I have always been a fan of procharger. It also depends on what kind of pulley is on it. One may be set for 5 lbs of boost while the other is for 11. That could be why.

alright...that reminds me of another question...on superchargers are the pulleys what determines the abount of boost?

yep. Different sized pullies will spin the supercharger faster or slower and compress more or less air causing more or less boost.

Me personally. I love turbos. They may be more expensive, but they are so much fun. I have experience with them so thats one reason why I love them so much. Other reasons, but I would personally rather have a turbo or turbos.

Right i'm an SC fan -
because an sc whines at idle ( centi ) and people recognize that at car shows and you get a lot of looks

BUT

Turbo will always be numero uno on my performance book, that and a rev and the bov = yummy sound
