i Think the thing that will always boggle my mind is that the single port cam is better than the splitport cam.

Ford put on a good flowing splitport head and dual runner intake but then topped it off with a smaller cam...just doesnt make sense to me. I feel they purposely "under-cammed" the splitport from the factory because they feared the 3.8 would be too close to the 4.6 2v in power.

yeah emissions has played a huge role in the shittyness of vehicles for years now ...

the 3.8 alone obviously had alot more potential in it then it came with.

But also, they know their is a aftermarket buisness, they aren't gonna max out a vehicle off the lot even if they could.

Kinda like someone i heard say not to long ago, their is probably a cure for cancer out there. But look how many jobs and such their is out their involved with with, why cure it if their is still moeny to be made ... they're probably right about that one ....

Jetflo will probably want my 4.2 cam for his cali bs.
I also have the lumpy cam w/ about 200 miles of use on it. I went w/ a custom spec cam for my 4.2 set up.

you'll have to look up the info on that cam yourself
