How is this thing supposed to run..
Ive had my v6 for about 2months.. And i dont drive it at all ive only put like 120miles on it in 2months. But anyways. I was wondering is it supposed to sound different when it is first cranked up.. Then when it warms up it sounds smoother and much quieter. is this normal.. ?

Yeah its louder cause when you first start the car when its cold it idles at a higher rpm...they then drop and it runs quieter

We're talking a matter of 300 rpm's....not enough to warrant a sound difference enough to post about it. I don't think the author is a complete moron |

could it be the fact that the oil is thick and when its cold the engine has to take more "energy" to run then when its warm and the oil gets thinner?
Im not sure but its just an idea.
