Which first?
ok so i cant decide on what i should do first. should i do the windstar swap or do gears and t-lok?
if i do the gears and t-lok, what kind do you recommend? |

If you have the money, I say gears/tlok. Go with Ford Racing. I think StangMods sells FR gears, FR tlok, bearing/install kit, etc all in a kit. Don't forget you'll also need a tuner for the new gears.

i got the tuner. i'll proly just have a shop install them bc i know i dont have the tools to do it with or the enough know how to confidently do it

rpmoutlet sells 4.10 fr, but ive heard terrible reviews on them, stangmods has 3.73 and theyve had good customer service with me

most of the 8.8 that i have found locally need to be rebuilt or dont have posi

so could somebody give me a run down of how to put the gears and t-lok in. it doesnt have to be realy realy in depth just cover the basics really. i think i could figure the rest of it out that is commor sense ya know.

This is just one of those things that most of us have professionally installed. Improper installation can lead to gear whine which is annoying as hell.

alright i just bought the windstar kit since i can do that myself. ima hold off on the t-lok and gears for now maybe a month or so. i'll be sure to post some pic of how im goin to get my k&n CAI in the fender and hooked up to the MAF and intake since i havent seen nebody do that yet.
