Sorry to keep this going, but I have one more question. Being an 05 with over 100k miles on it, is it too late to start modding?

its never too late. i got a 2001 with 160000 and im thinkin about a windstar swap and gears and t-lok, if the engine blows up i'll just buy anothe 3.8 and drop it in and switch the mods over. so no its not to late

First,

Second, its never to late to start modding, I had a 1999 Ranger with the 4.0 in it before I got the mustang and it had 160,000 on it when I started modding it, and there are guys on here with 230,000 plus miles running 12-15 psi of boost

Thanks a bunch, it's good to have confidence when starting to mod I guess.
