Not a run of the mill exhaust ?
Alright, so this isnt a thread on opinions about x and y and h pipes all i need to know is this: will i be able to reuse all the bolts from my stock catback when i switch to the x pipe and duals that i have sitting in my closet?
I have the offroad x, the intermediate pipe, mufflers, hangers, the whole shebang, but there is no hardware for the x and intermediate pipes, i just dont know if the hardware comes off my old stuff. Im pretty sure when i took my old exhaust off i remember there being studs on the manifolds, which makes bolting up the x relatively simple, but can i use the bolts from my y pipe to bolt my intermediate pipes to my new x pipe? question 2, are sn95 v6 exhausts the same as new edge just from the cat back?Id like to bolt on my old 44 dump on the mrs's car, thanks guys

1. As long as all of your new parts have flanges, I imagine your stock hardware will work. But I know a lot of parts don't come with flanges so you'll either need to go with exhaust clamps or have everything welded together (or have flanges welded on).
2. Yes, I believe the only difference between the SN95 and NE stock exhaust systems was the exhaust manifolds and they aren't too different.

Thanks bud, that's what I wondered, and yes everything I bought is flanged. I just didn't know if the stock hardware came or if it was all studs

I don't think it's all studs. If I wasn't going so lazy, I'd know for sure because I have to unbolt my manifolds from the midpipe to get them off the heads. Worst case scenario you have to run to the store with no exhaust behind the manifolds

Lol ya but this way the only thing I have to get welded is the mufflers and hangers, and I can take it apart if I need to. If I have to ill drive down and get some bolts

It thought new edges had a 2 1/2 diameter exhaust, while us sn95's had a 2 1/4 stock exhaust.. Isn't this the reason people who do split port swaps can't use the new edge manifolds? They won't bolt up to the exhaust, so we use our stock shorty's

Yup.
Although he might be right about the manifolds, the collector could be 2 1/4 on the sn95 v6's. I know the new edges are 2 1/2 collectors. |

^ Maybe that's what I'm thinking of. Lol, I just know I bolted the new edge manifolds up and when I tried to match them to my exhaust, I couldn't.. And had to take them all off again! smh..
