Price to Replace Interior of 2000 Coupe

I'm about to purchase my first car, a red 2000 mustang coupe. The interior of the car is in very bad condition. The front seats cloth/finish is gone needs to be replaced (would new seats be cheaper?), the headliner needs to be replaced, the drivers door window motor needs to be fixed/replaced, and then some very small parts are missing (around $100-200 to replace).

I was trying to do some research about how much everything would be to replace, but Im not sure what the total cost would run up to?
I dont want anything super high in cost because I only have about $1500 to spend, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips of where to look for replacing parts etc.

Im buying the mustang for $2000 with 139xxx miles. The car mechanically is great! So I wouldnt mind if all repairs ran up to over a $1000 (including paint).

Also, I would like to add performance exhaust and have the paint/ and some smalls dents fixed. Not anything super fancy, but enough to look original again. How much would this run?

Thanks in advance!

Seats won't be that expensive unless you want to go with some cobra seats. Check craigslist for misc. junk yard cars that are getting parted out, i'm sure you could get a couple of your interior pieces that you need from there like the window motor and the small parts. Just keep looking around for good deals on stuff, it'll come eventually.

If I were you, I'd browse the good ol' craigslist for someone selling the complete interior out of their mustang (I see it a decent amount where I'm from) Price wise, I've seen a complete interior (not sure if seats are included tho) run for about $350-500

this isnt the cheapest website out there, but it does carry many if not all parts for restoration
Mustang Parts & Accessories at 50resto
(heres another GREAT website that may offer some restoration parts you will need... If not, its still an amazing mustang website to give you many ideas of what mods should come next)
Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle

Exhaust can be had anywhere from around $200+ depending on the setup and components youre looking to run.
Check out this thread for different exhaust ideas and setups.
OFFICIAL V6 EXHAUST THREAD with CLIPS (I take it you're buying a V6 mustang)

as for body work (fixing dents) and paint repair (paint chips), the price will really be determined by the shop you take it to getting it fixed... Thats if you go to a shop though... if paint chips are tiny and not very bad, you'd probably be better off just buying some tough up paint and filling in the chips yourself (cheap alternative to going in to a shop)

and finally, welcome to MM. Your mustang will be your addiction

If the interior was that badly neglected i'd make sure you do a very good tune-up once you get the car cause they could have neglected the motor as well. It might sound like it runs great, but there could be some underlying problems that haven't risen yet.

If you're looking for tan, look at the link in my sig. I have a large amount of parts. I'm about to massive price drop (~40-50%) because I just want to get rid of everything at this point...)
