shift kit


hey how much is a shift kit for my car... and many 1/10's of a second will it take off the 1/8 / 1/4... is it really worth it?

full kit, torque converter, and shifter about 670 installed, and it will take about .3-.6 off your time depending on your torque converter, it is very worth it. that is if your an auto by the way

670!!! damn thats alot... i seen some guy in another post say he was gonna buy one for 106... he said canadian tho so i dunno.

well just the shift kit you can get for 75, that will firm up your shifts a lot and it does most of the work

that "somethign else" would the shifter I guess. but yeah as I understand it, you dont really need the TQ converter or something? GF could explain better...but for some reason I don't think you absolutely need it.

there is some info

but TC is the clutch of the auto trans, you don't need it unless you race a lot, shifter is needed to gain full manual and auto control over all your gears
