It looks alittle different now (cleaned up the wiring and hoses and such) but you get the point.

6er, you're on the right track with CAI having denser air, and the short ram having less dense air.

The CAI in theory should give you more power for one of 2 reasons. One, being longer tube for the air to flow through. It works kinda like longer runners on an intakae manifold (heard this on a tuner forum, so not 100% sure if its true.) The second reason being the colder/denser air. The more air you put in the combustion chamber, the more fuel you need. The more fuel and air, the more power.

The short ram is better for fuel efficiency. Cars are tuned to run with a certain air intake temp. Warmer air is less dense, so therefore it requires less fuel. While some may think its not much better than stock, it does however make the air flow more smooth, so therefore you have less restriction, which helps gas mileage.
