Considering a new clutch.

Well I'm on my third bad TOB (previous Duralast ones) and now my clutch pedal is getting hard to press down. I was looking at new clutch kits, and came across the SPEC ones that AM sells. Are these clutches good, cause I really don't want to replace ANOTHER bad TOB.

ford oem tobs are the best ur going to get. i bought a napa clutch and just swapped tob with a ford oem one and after 14k miles have no issuses

Yeah they are, but what about the one that comes with the SPEC clutches? I mean it has to be better than the Duralast ones right?

Not at all. I've heard of Spec TOBs going bad in under 100 miles. Go Ford OEM or be ready to keep changing TOBs.

Awesome, I'll just end up getting just the TOB. I just hope my clutch fork and Pressure plate fingers are good still. I kind of want to get that Duralast out of there.

for some reason mine was squeaking very loudly but it got quiet all of a sudden. maybe it just got off its period?
