Air controls not working on any strength but MAX

Just as it sounds, all of my air controls are working only on the MAX setting. LO and the 2 dots between them do absolutely nothing recently. Is it a simple fix? I'm in FL so the AC (Norm ac or max ac) is almost always on max, so it's not a huge deal...just annoying for when I need to try to talk to someone or use a little heat to defrost when it rains. Anyone had this one?

Easy fix. just find the blower motor resistor and replace it.

Score, thanks for the info. Just hadn't had the problem before and didn't feel like a ton of research.

Could this problem also relate to my air cutting in and out while I'm driving? It doesn't stop blowing but the cold goes away to what seems like outside air

nope its a different system for that. do you WOT alot? because when your at WOT the compressor will turn off to give the motor more power

like 88tempo said. the blower motor works with 4 different resistors my bet is that your 2nd to highest speed resistor went out and now it only works on full because when its on max there are no resistors.

Like 1slowv6 said, its a totally different issue. could be the a/c compressor cutting off from full throttle, or could be the clutch not engaging from wear, or could be low on 134a.

I rarely ever do WOT, even if its like halfway sometimes it does this, I am thinking it is probably wear on the clutch like you said, and is going out while I'm driving, I tested it while i was parked with the engine idling and revved the engine but the clutch didnt disengage but theres no way to check while I'm driving :/.
Is replacing the clutch expensive/hard?
also i just filled the freon, sitting at ~45psi running on max

While it could be what 1slowv6 and 88TempoGLS said, I'd bet you have a small vacuum leak somewhere. As you open the throttle from idle you reduce vacuum, and the blend door moves. It's a common issue.
