Decepticons always winn, opinion on transformer mod?

Transformers, who doesn't love it? And who doesn't love Barricade, the badass Saleen modded mustang.

Alright, clearly there are people out there who are fans of Transformers, and will do things to his/her car to either "make" it a decepticon or an autobot. I use to have the chrome decepticon fender badges and decepticon faux gas cap overly on my car years ago, and replaced everything with the original emblems, because the idea got old to me.

NOW, that my car's appearance looks better than the stock V6 we all see swarming the roads, I want to do something again with it Transformers related.

I have that darker silver mustang that is completely blacked out, no it's not a black car, but everything from the Shelby Gt500 wheels to the windows, to the rear window louver, blacked out decklid panel to the grille to the raxiom halo headlights, well...anyways...every appearance mod you can buy for a mustang, I have, and it's either black, smoked, or tinted...and it has a "stealth" look. I'll post pics of it if you need help decided whether or not this is stupid. I already ordered everything and will most likely do it regardless. I know my car isn't anyway similar to the Saleen in Transformers, but I wanted to do more than the chrome badges you now see everywhere on peoples cars.

But this is what I'm doing, I got two 3" black chrome decepticon fender badges, 4 custom made decepticon center wheel caps, then the kicker, I ordered two black 22" "to enslave and punish..." decals to go on the rear quarter panels. I think it will look good on my car, due to all the appearance mods I've done with it, that's all I can do with a V6 really. I just want to know what people think. I don't need any haters, and yes, I know my car isn't Barricade, so I don't want to hear thatt. My mom has never seen transformers and when I told her about the decal, she was like "I don't like how that sounds at all, people are going to look at you differently when they see those decals on your car...bleh bleh bleh". She thinks that no one has seen transformers. But I like the idea. I think.

I can post pictures of my car if you think it will help. She just has me thinking about the reaction people will get when they see the decals -_- ...

Probably might want to post pictures of your car to reduce the negative feedbacks. I think go for it if you think it will look good, like said above it's your car.

was having problem uploading them on this site through attachments, so here are links to pictures. All the pony emblems are removed, and I added a rear window louver to it as well. But this is my baby.

Gotta find a way to stand out right? Where I live in Maryland, mustangs are everywhere, and it's all about standing out, and being different, that's what gets the looks, and stares. Wish I kept my 1974 Plymouth Duster, then I wouldn't need to worry about it much haha

Thanks That's a nice car you got there yourself. I think I'm gonna just do it, all together, it only cost me around $45-50. If I'm unhappy, I'll take it off. I've already been through three different decklid panels, 2 sets of rims, I always find myself switching appearance mods out for another appearance mod. I finally just decided recently to stick with the stealth look.
I'll post pics when I'm done sometime next week.

SO .. just out of curiosity why dont you take the thousands of dollars you have in all the appearance stuff and trade the car in on a GT ?? I have never understood why someone gets the V6 and then dumps 10k into the car to make it a highly decorated V6 .. Im asking because I dont understand .. Please explain if you dont mind ..

Its cheaper to mod the car you have then buy a new one, I can get about 4500 for my car as is, a gt around here runs from 9K up, for ~2500 I can turbo my car and walk away from any new edge gt no problem that puts me 2 grand below a stock gt with a faster car

Your idea about a turbo 6 is great .. I was referring to people doing rims, decals, chin spoilers, rear spoilers, etc etc ... I think its a great idea to have a turbo 6 mustang .. I always thought one should be made, and maybe ford will start putting the eco boost in the mustangs as an option.. However my question was talking about putting thousands in "decorating" a car vs putting the money in a GT ..

Ah ok I misread it sorry, some people like the looks of the mustang but don't care about performance? or maybe they are more concerned with gas mileage and want a car that turns heads?

I'm 19. I got to college full time. I guess insurance would have killed me? Besides I love this car I guess. It doesn't matter what it is, it's my first car, I actually can say I bought it myself, I highly doubt that I will ever get rid of it. And I wanted something I could make my own. Actually looking for an old mustang to buy this summer to restore with my grandfather to.

The main reason was insurance. The second reason, if it came down to it. I saw this V6 mustang, and I was a crazy kid who thought he could turn it into something that people who even drove GTs and Shelby GT500s could look at and respect? might sound silly...but makes some sorta sense to me. that help?

Point taken .. Never had a V6 turn my head before.. I guess to me I would rather have a turbo 4 cyl like and Evo or Subie or mazdaspeed3 for the performance ( 280 hp ) and mileage ( 28 mpg ) .. Just my thoughts .. I should prob keep them inside my own crazy head anyway ..
