ok so im thinking about painting my interior, not sure what color though, its basically stock interior, black dash with the tan or whatever color interior,

anyways i was thinking about paintin some of the interior either black or blue like the color of my car but im not sure what color to go with, so any suggestions would be nice

Since my car is silver, I went with silver with mine. Did like my ac vents, door panels. Came out nice. =]

silver,blue and black. that would be pretty cool looking. i could leave the dash black, paint the door panels blue and silver, but what about the console and uhmmm whatever the part is right beneath the steering wheel, and where the airbag is on the passenger side??? any ideas. and yeh i try to keep my car clean b/c it has tiny dents and specs or rust spots on the outside, so yeh i try to clean the inside to perfection.

paint the hood 1st...then paint the interior that same as the car...u can even sand down the dash till it doesnt have those little lines and get it professionally painted and looks like fiberglass...i saw that done at the SEMA show...i didnt know until the guy said

to those of you who make fun of my white hood. nah im j/k yeh i do need to get that painted, a guy said he would sand it and the whole nine yards for about 250 or 275, but thats if I go with a flat black hood. it would be hard to match the color of my car plus ima paint the whole car eventually, so i figured ehhh flat black wouldnt be too bad til i can paint the whole car, atleast it would have some paint on it. o and the old blazer in the background was my 1st car given to me by my grandpa, but it didnt run and dad didnt feel like workin on it cause it is a piece so we went a huntin and now i have my stang.

get the hood painted first. That should be a priority. Over time an unprepped and painted hood can get damaged easier. Also with the two tone interior I wouldn't mess with it. I'll photoshop some pics up and give you a rough guess of how it would look.

alright I didn't know exactly what ya meant by some of the stuff so I just made some stuff blue. You can prob get a general idea of what it may look like.

the blue by itself looks like crap but im gonna put some black in there and maybe some silver, and then i also thought about just black and silver, and leave the blue out. by the way what program did you use to that cricket? that could come in handy.

blue would look good. I had a friend in high school that did all his accesories and stuff in "fleck stone". It looked great the first day and maybe the first month. After it god dirty, it was hard to clean without it rubbing off becuase it was a rough texture.

Anyway, blue would be cool. As close to the exterior color as you can get.

As far as the hood goes, you like to hunt right? Tie a deer up on that thing and just leave it until you can paint right If you cant find a deer, go hunt a civic and tie its sorry ass to the hood.

any suggestions on what kind of paint to use, i was thinkin vht paint but my dad says its crap, my friend said to get some kind of krylon or something like that from walmart, i dunno what to get

the difference between the real paint and the way the light will hit it is a lot different then doing a photoshop...i would look good with the right things to bring it out better
