what exactly does it do and how do i delete it?

Highlight it with your mouse, Then Hit the delete Button.
OR you could purchase an EGR Delete kit, I've heard of them.. But I am not sure where to get one, I would just google it, who know's You might be able to do it easy/cheap.

puts exhuast in your intake to burn it again to make it cleaner. you also need it to pass emissions. any more questions?
