Seafoam question
I know most of you let out a hell of a sigh when you saw this but I've got a question and I'm not finding the answer. When should you add the seafoam to the crank case? Before or after funneling it into the pcv lines and revving?

I don't think it really matters, you drive it with seafoam in there for ~100 miles anyways.
I've always done after though.

^ correct, it really does not matter, its will take a few runs through everything before it will start to get rid of sludge and all that, they say not to drive around with seafoam in the crankcase though, i have heard not to go over 500 miles with it in their, but i put it in one time and didnt change the oil for AWHILE, had no problems so idk.

Hey guys, sorry to bring up an old thread but didn't wanna start a new one. So my question is, I have seen people say its ok to let the sea foam sit in the crank case for a while, and some say not to because it does internal damage. I am not planning on letting it sit in there long but would like 3-4 days be ok? I just want some advice to make sure I don't f up my engine :p

i wouldn't leave it in there for a long period of time....unless you feel like replacing your probly already worn out oil pan gasket.

General rule is pour 1/3 of bottle in fuel tank, 1/3 of bottle in oil, and suck the rest up in the PCV, run the car for a minute to heat it up, shut it off. let it sit for 30, then fire it up and watch the smoke show.
Once the smoke dies down, drive it around until the smoke stops. Come back. Drive it around 100 miles (2 days of work for me) then change your oil. From what I hear it neutralizes after that, but it WILL ruin your gaskets if they are already weak.
