Intake question.. Oh Lordy.

The Stock Intake on mah 6..

it has a tube thing that sticks into the fender, It has a small hole at the end.. If I got rid of the tube, but kept the filter housing, Wouldnt it still be "coolish.." air from the fender, Just with a bigger hole...? "More airflow is my thought...?"

Maybe i'll gain a 1/4 of a horsepower, Lawl.

Now you're starting to see that Ford actually designed the stock air intakes pretty well

Yes, your engine pulls cool air from the fender. That little tube you took out is called a "silencer" and is meant to keep the intake quiet. But it's restricting. Most people pull those out. My car didn't even have it when I bought it (one of the POs removed it).

Sounds like my old Tempo's owner.

He had EGR deleted, K&N drop in filter, Holes Cut in the Intake box for more airflow, Etc.

He Riced the engine bay. D: lol

Then I riced it More..

Not a bad engine bay though, For a 1990 GL Tempo.. Only had 78k miles on her

yeah just pull it and if you want the full effects of a CAI buy a cheap cotton fiber replacement filter and viola...

I painted my stock intake tube Glossy black, Dunno if you' seen the pic or not. But its pretty nice.

A CAI tube would look better, But ya'know? Its money I don't got for now, Lol.

Planning on Taking Upper off and painting it black, Then Blue handpainted 3.8 and Fuel injected "With the 2 lines blue as well."

it shouldnt be too hard to do.

Also going to replace all my hoses sooner or later, Fresh black hoses help alot as well

clean off your current ones with this and it'll not only look way better but keep them cleaner longer...

Theyre actually offering me a weekend Job as a Driver; But I dont think my current boss would let me; She NEVER gives weekends off. Which sucks.

lol i remember walmart...i started as a cart pusher...within a year i was in electronics...less then a year after that i was a CSM and then another year after that i moved to Service Manager in TLE...when the SM asked me to do the AM training i asked him if i could still go to college while doing so...they said i'd have to drop out and dedicate full time to Wally World...i said no thanks, and after that he was always an ass toward me...Eventually i got fed up and left to work for Sears...9 months later i found Advance and well...it's working out very well

I started at Advance part time But I didn't know much about cars, I was 18.. It was stupid for me to quit, but I got a job at a warehouse packing boxes for 12$ an hour fulltime, Couldnt pass that up You know?

I just got interviewed for Hardware Department manager, I dont know if I want it.. I want to move to TLE but they say im.. "More promotable on the sales floor.." Which Is ok, But Customers are freaking annoying..
Back on topic..
I cant wait to buy a Chin lip for my stang.. Your' car looks amazing man.
