Exhaust Advise Please...

ok...so i want to do exhaust on my car. but i'm not sure which route to go. i want that deep, throghty, alarm going off exhaust. i'm not sure which maker to go with or if to go dual (which i probaly should to get the desired effect). I just heard the flowmaster super 44 on a gt and about came in my pants. so any kind of help from the masters themselves would be greatly appreciated

you will absolutely never achieve the sound that the gt put out. The reason is because the GT is an odd firing engine. we have an even firing engine. the sound is 54758934% different. To get the best sound do the following:

LT headers
Cam
o/r H pipe (or high flow catted if you have emissions)
true dual
flow master super 40's.

You should be good then.

BTW, not many people answered you due to the fact that this question (as well as "what can i do to get more power??") is posted about 15 times a week. It gets annoying answering the same questions. lol. No, im not bashing you. Im just letting you know. And Welcome to MM Every question you have will be answered. some will be answered by assholes also.

exhaust

1.long tube headers
2. off road h pipe
3.flowmaster 40s super 40s or for the best sound flowmaster suepr 44s and you'll have a good sounding enigne

and them having a odd firing engine isnt the only reason they sound better....were also missing 2 cylinders lol

if we had an odd firing engine, we could sound pretty damn close to a gt's sound. Theres no doubt about it. But our cars being even firing make it impossible

yea but AB's car is a BAMF... beat that

why hasn't any one developed an odd firing engine cam and tune for our cars yet?

all you have do to is switch the firing order in two of the cylinders

No. Odd fires also have shared crank rod journals (two connecting rods per crank journal). Our 6er have 6 independent rod journals. The v8s have 4. Mathematiclly giving them the odd fire angles.
