As long as your fuel pump still primes & is working properly, you should be okay. I'd just drive for a bit to get the surface rust off the rotors (Usually forms after sitting a while). U should be fine. Oil change!

Hey there,

I had another car that had the same problem. It was parked for about 7 months. I went to start it and everything was fine until I turned the radio on.I noticed it seems like it wants to work but A connection was not being made. Also my gauges were bouncing around.

So I checked through everything and the culprit was.....a bad fuse.

I guess from it sitting so long, the surge just shot through and blew the fuse.So I replaced it. I believe the fuse for the radio and gauges are the same ( I think). So yeah try checking that out.

Another note,lol..I'm not being a smart ass but If you see something that looks lose then that can be the problem.

And, I'm glad she started up for ya!

Oh, I forgot about the radio part >__< Mine did the same thing. For me, it was a ground. I had ALOT of bad grounds, actually.. I'd check fuses first as mangogirl205 suggested because that's the easiest part!
