tackling the fuel side of the FI demon
So I'm in the process of gathering all the small odds and ends for the build.
So far I have 39# injectors 90mm lmaf aluminum drive shaft 3.73 gears (w/ T-lok) all the piping and mounting brackets for the S/C + intercooler (dual core) abs relocation kit (still not sure if I have abs, the car has the abs sensors but the wheels lock up like a mofo) UDP for the A/C windstar intake to slap on in the near future and misc hardware I still need a head unit for the S/C the one i found with the piping and everything turned out to be empty... >.< and a new SVT fuel pump. So that brings me to this. Where can I get a quality SVT or equivalent pump for a reasonable price. and is one pump sufficient or do I need to go to a dual pump setup i see alot of people running? What this non-sense of return style fuel systems I keep hearing about... when it comes to fuel I'm like a child looking on with glassy eyes at an adult speaking french. I know the basics. Pump sends fuel to a pressure regulator which sends it to the rails which feed the injectors and so on a so forth modern magic. please help.

The only fuel stuff you really need to worry about is injectors and a pump. And i knew a really place to pick up the pump at a really good price...Ill look around for it...Mp4 gave me the link when i bought a new SVT pump

Alright. And the stock lines and rails are good enough to support the larger pump?
Will an SVT pump support the 39#ers i have?

The stock lines will be fine.
The pump should max out at about the same time as the injectors although they seem to vary quite a bit. Go find the cheapest place you can to buy Motorcraft PFS-204. Good quality SVT pump.
