Brake pedal question...
Hey I was looking at the pedals to adjust the cover a lil' bit and I notice that the brake pedal has 2 wires one of them is connected and the other is just sitting there besides the connector.... should I connect the cable or should I just leave it there? I'm just asking cause I bougth the car used and it's my first stang so idk...

man rigth now i cant get any pics cause im not at home... my 2000 mustang at the pedal ends it has some connectors (rigth in the pedal) one of the cables is connected and the other one is just hangin there rigth beside the connected cable should i connect it to the empty connector or just leave it there couldnt some1 just get to their car get in their knees and see the pedals if u look at the brake pedal it has some cables just tell me how they r connected

Alright El, I took a look... hope this helps.
Yes, both wires coming out are connected. I have no clue what either are for. The first one is like a quick connect going in right above the brake lever. The other is a gray quick connect that is connected to the side kin of toward the center of the car. |

well that's weird if your car has been running (or I guess braking) totally fine. But with a wire being disconnected, which would generally be perceived as a bad thing, you'd expect SOMETHING to go wrong at some point...

idk man do u have cruise control or something that the cable could be powering, i dont have cruise control so the ones that said to have it connnected do u have cruise control? mine been braking fine but It puts me to think.... and i'm pretty confuse may one cable be for the front brakes and the other for the rear one??.. damn that is stupid........ well rigth now i'm like
and idk if to connect the cable or not

i would connect it if there is a place anything loose near your brake is bad, probably a dummy wire for abs or cruise or something.

well the dougth patrol in Sabana Grande aparrently is closed or something cause I havent seen a cop araound here since 2 months maybe is just a coincidence lol

I remember one time like 5 year ago my uncle in his 1992 240 sx ran from a cop.... my uncle didnt want to pay a ticket for speeding so my uncle continued and later the cop was behind us like 3 minute later the cop was lost or didnt wanted to continue... I learned a very important lesson... MY UNCLE IS CRAZY!!
