time for new seats...

my drivers seat is ripping on the stiching as you 1st get in...just worn out from all the in and out times...so i was thinking about these

http://www.hunsakersports.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=32

or some aluminum kirkeys...a buddy of mine with a Vette has the ones in the link with some covers on it...looks good matching the car...i would just have black covers...i dont recline my seat at all and dont need the special adjustments with the motorized seat...just back and forth on the slider....would it be ok to take the motor for the seat out and just drop these in or what....i have no care for fancy racing seats either just something somewhat ok to sit in and lite weight

For some reason those look uncomfortable -

> yep you can take the motors out if you don't want power. I've already done that for my sparco's

so how would i adjust the drivers seat with no motor...its not gona have the slider like the passenger side..or am i gona set it where i want and thats it.....thats why im gona get the covers that have the padding...the guy i know with the Vette says you gota get use to it...hes bigger then me and is ok with it...he just mentioned really long trips you should bring a pillow or something for the back .... but i dont like the lumbar support shit so i wouldnt wanna put a pillow in the middle of my back neways ... or maybe the long ways but either way i dont do road trips in it...maybe 45miles at most in one time...i did my 4 hour trip to South FL once and thats that

make a phony plate that just covers the seat holes and you can mount your stock brackets onto that... from their you can put the controls into the center counsel right by your seat on the side of the center down low
