If you don't like spending time & money modding your car, then yes.. Getting a GT is the better option for YOU.
Fortunately, most of us here don't mind spending the time & money

And you're v6 would sell for $4500, maybe $5000. Still a $2500 dollar difference. So now you pay not only $2500 more fore the car, but another $2500 to be faster than me. Lol, thats 5 grand you've spent to be faster than me. And it wouldn't be 200 less. You would probably be around 75hp more than I (which is all your stock block can take without blowing), unless you want to keep spending thousands more, in which case you better be faster than me. I'm fine with that. Look, do what you want. Its your money and your life.

If I had the know how, or the time, I would definately mod the mess out of my car, but I dont, and it is a loosing battle with this car. I want something new and better. And the gt would be the way to go. Just a friendly challenge though. I give much props to you guys with fast 3.8s. It took alot of dedication, and I dont agree with all of the trash talking youtube guys. But the gt is alot better platform for where I am. And all of the guys I hang out with know how to do things with the gt

I saw those engines on ebay. There've been lots of good reasons posted to avoid buying this engine. I'm just surprised by one exception.
If you rebuild using the original block with a 4.2 crank then the numbers still match. Boring out to get an extra 0.1L might make sense in some cases. I'm not sure I'd bother unless it was required to repair the cylinder bores. What is the build objective? Is this a street driven car or show vehicle? How many miles/year? Will you ever wish to resell the car? If you are just looking for a bit more pep for little money, look into a Ford built used F150 4.2L. It will save you about $1000 compared to buying this ebay rebuilt.

And anybody who can turn a wrench on a 2v should be able to do anything to push rod 6 cylinder.

I am still debating caming this thing, and building the rear end, that would get some good power and be decently priced, correct? Anything else I could do to add to this? And how difficult is it to change cams? Or would it be best to ge someone with more knowledge to do this?

I can. But it'd be a couple months before I could start building it. I only build the hotside pipes, esg could hook you up on the rest.
You know I'm not going to cut you out buddy
