Stroker engine on ebay.Would this be a good deal to swap in? It makes 280 horse and 290 ft lbs. I was just wondering if this is a sham or if it would be a true power house. |

How would it be a wase? Just wonderin. Its the easiest way to get to the 300 mark. I dont have time to take it appart and build it, because I work off, and I dont have the money to trade it in for anything else that I would want.

Step 1: Buy a spare 3.8 block Step 2: Bore thus block .030 over Step 3: Buy forged 4.3 stroker kit Step 4: Do headwork Step 5: Cam it Step 6: Boost! ^^^Steps for a more reliable v6 build

maybe just get this and pull it and go forged before you put f/i on it
. Just my $.02 just keep your other block for a spare in case this one lets go or build up your other block as you get the money and time.

I plan on keeping it N/A, and like I said, I dont have the time to take everything apart and do all of that, and by the time you pay a shop to port and polish and bore and all of that it will cost way more than getting a new engine.

From what I hear those titan motors aren't that great but what you hear and what's true are usually two different things

have just spent the money I have on a N/A set up. Im just gonna say one thing. Buying a turbo + fuel system + exhaust + tune: on your stock motor, will probably be cheaper in the end. And you'll get ohhh idk 50hp more probably then a full N/A set up. Well depending on how much you wanna push that engine....
Trust me, i know this much. Im running a N/A 4.2. Its a waste of time to stay N/A ... |

This motor sucks though. I dont want to go crazy with this thing. Thats 87 more horses than I have now, which is more than the stock gt of this year, and lighter.

And after 3 years, I will have new and better dd, so I can go crazy then.

I'd say save your money. if you have 2400 bucks to spend on that engine, put it off to the side, get your new DD in 3 years and you'll have much more money to go crazy on your car later on. Honestly, i've never spent more than 2000 bucks on a car, so spending 2400 on a motor that someone else built for you sounds like a no no to me. If anything, get a spare 3.8 block and do your own build. 2400 bucks you can build a more reliable and more powerful engine.

better way to spend ur money... go to a jy and grab a $500 5.0 and find a decent donor car for the remaining parts and do the swap = more bang for buck and 5.0 parts are dirt cheap with the new coyote motor out now.
